This week is going to be the last match for Zinedine Zidane with Real Madrid. After this World Cup, he will be completely retired from football game. For your information, last week they’ve just held a farewell party at Bernabeu after played 3-3 against Villareal. As always, Zidane showed good ball and scored nicely by heading up David Beckham’s cross. Thank you Mr. Zidane, for the greatest game ever played. And other than that, it’s also amazing how David played very well after his bad performance during the downtime.

Anyway, a friend of mine asked me what does David do in his downtime. In a recent interview on local media, David revealed that he has spent years battling Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. He spends hours straightening the furniture in his home.

I have got this disorder where I have to have everything in a straight line or everything has to be in pairs. I’ll put my Pepsi cans in the fridge and if there’s one too many then I’ll put it in another cupboard somewhere. I’ll go into a hotel room and before I can relax I have to move all the leaflets and all the books and put them in a drawer.

David also admitted to regularly spending hours straightening the furniture at his Madrid home. In order to satisfy his anxieties, he wears a new pair of football boots for every match and buys exactly 20 packets of Super Noodles every time he goes to a supermarket.

So, despite his mental disorder, does Real really needs David? Either, does million dollars transferred to United really worth it? Why wouldn’t Real buy Ronaldinho, Ballack, or Kaka; instead of David?
