Audyasha Wordpress Theme

This is my first Wordpress theme named Audyasha. Slightly modified version of the default WordPress theme based on the famous Kubrick. I’ve also posted this at Wordpress support forum. Nothing special. Just added some small stuff like:

  • added top navigation
  • all-sidebar template
  • show random post
  • show smilies on comments textarea
  • included template for guestbook, link, and archive page
  • included live preview plugin

Download away here.

Just extract the zip file into /themes directory and activate it. I also included 2nd header image and background image.

Don’t forget to move live-comment-preview.php to /plugins directory and activate it. It will load comment preview automatically. The plugin will work automatically with either of the default themes and many 3rd party themes.

Feel free to use it on your own site. If you do decide, a credit link back to my site is always appreciated.

I apologize if you still find some error, bugs, etc. I’m still learning into PHP, XHTML, and CSS thing. Comments and suggestion are highly appreciated.

P.S.
Both XHTML and CSS were valid, but CSS Validator showed some warning message. I’m working on it. But I’d be glad if someone would like to help me solving this. ;)

    It is always a good idea to show a demo. Few people are willing to download it just based on a picture. That’s why I cannot tell you anything about the theme. I don’t see it :shock:

    Wow, that’s a cool one! I always wanted to create my own wordpress theme although what I’ve done lately is only modifying the already available one. Hm… probably I’ll start coding after WordPress 2 has been released :cool:

    outstanding, especially the top nav bar, not something often seen. i think for sure that it should include ‘contact’ page though, like on this site.

    When I read the theme’s description I was curious. Your theme is a gorgeous mod for Kubrick, and that is for a cute girl called Audyasha. Can you show for us the real Audyasha? :roll:

    Nice and simple. That’s the kind of wordpress them I prefer.
    I think I actually will go and take a look at it – could use it for my blog, I think.
    Nice design with the green. Green is often under used with themes, not sure why. That and black. Black I can understand, as it can look horrible if not done correctly and not contrasted with the correct colors. Only a handful of people I know have been able to use it. But when it’s done properly, black can lead to a very sweet design.

    This may seem bias because green and any shade of it is my favorite color(s). Your theme is beautiful! It’s great for blogs under environment, health, and nature topics. But it can be used for Health, Wellness, Diet or similar category as well.
